Discovering Gum Springs Park

 Placed in Shawnee, Kansas, Gum Springs Park is a refreshing destination that offers a blend of amenities for residents of all ages. This park is great if you are looking to play sports, walk around with friends or family, or take the kids or yourself to the newly renovated playground.

    The park got its name from a camp spot that was located there for the north american indians. While it is no longer there, this park still preserves the natural beauty of the nature.

    This park has an abundance of greenery. There are tall trees, large grassy fields, and bright, vibrant foliage to set the perfect setting for nature lovers and make it appealing to the eye. This park provides the perfect setting for anyone, whether you are a casual stroller or a seasoned hiker, the trails loop around the whole park, so you can
experience everything in one loop. 

    Gum Springs Park does provide an ideal spot to enjoy a day outdoors, celebrate a birthday party, play sports activities, etc. This park also provides picnic tables, shelters, grills, and easy access to the park for all parties of all ages to run around. This park did undergo renovations, so everything is fairly new and nice. There are several places for everyone of all ages to enjoy.

    Gum Springs Park provides a warm welcome for the community. I really enjoyed how there is so much space to do so many activities. I feel that being able to do so many activities with your community makes the community stronger, and Gum Springs Park exceeds that. 

    The playground is very kid-friendly, and some things are not usually in a park. In the center of the playground, there is a model of a hot air balloon. Whether you live nearby or not, I suggest having a look for yourself to see how much fun Gum Springs Park is.
