Discovering Edwardsville City Park

 Edwardsville City Park is located in Edwardsville, Kansas. This park serves as a recreational space not only for residents but for visitors as well. Spanning a smaller length of almost 3 acres, this park still provides natural beauty and a variety of amenities. Edwardsville City Park provides an excellent spot for both children and adults. 

    There is little history behind this park, it was established to provide a spot for leisure and recreation as the city grew. However, there are several appealing recreational facilities at this park. This park was designed to accommodate the needs of different activities for those who enjoy other things. 

- Sports fields: Edwardsville City Park provides multiple sports fields that cater to soccer, baseball, basketball, and other team sports. these fields provide a good venue for local leagues and casual play. As well as the park having all different types of sports fields, they also have disc golf, which isn't in every park that you see. it is an engaging game that lots of people love to get together and play. these sports facilities create a sense of community and familiarity among participants and spectators.

- Playgrounds: For families, this park offers a well-maintained playground that provides a safe and engaging environment for all ages. The park is perfect for kids to burn off that extra energy and get them to take that nap you've been trying for.

- Walking and Biking Trails: This park features scenic walking and biking trails that wind through beautiful greenery. the trains encourage outdoor exercise and exploration, allowing residents and visitors to witness how beautiful it is while enjoying the fresh air.

- Picnic Areas: Edwardsville City Park provides several picnic spots equipped with grills and tables, ideal for parties, get-togethers, or a family picnic. 

    Edwardsville City Park provides an area for community engagement. the park hosts events that help bring the residents together, such as sports programs and seasonal festivals. This park provides not only entertainment but also brings the community together. 

Edwardsville City Park may be on the smaller side but they do offer lots of activities to do for all ages. I did enjoy walking around this park to see what it has to offer.
