Discovering Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park
They have available tennis courts on a first come, first serve basis until 10 pm. They also have a lake and allow fishing with a fishing license if you are between the ages of 16-74. The lake has channel catfish, bluegill, sunfish, and largemouth bass. In the middle of the lake, they have a statue of a snake that you can cross the lake and gain access to to look at it. There is also a bridge that many cross in order to get to the main part of the park.
During Christmas time, the park takes it upon itself and puts Christmas lights on every tree in the park (see below). This park doesn't necessarily have a big playground to focus on, more of just the trails and the pond is the main thing that the park offers.
I enjoyed this park and the beautiful sights it offers, and I do like the fact that there is something that is offered for everyone. as well as it is very pretty at Christmas time. I would not say this is the park you have to visit, but it is a good place to relax and unwind if you're ever nearby and have the extra time.
